Daniel Nitsche

Daniel Nitsche Hi! I’m Dan. You can contact me @daniel_nitsche, or via email (<my first name>@<my last name>.id.au). If you’d rather quietly watch me from behind the bushes, I sometimes do things on Drupal, Linkedin, and StackExchange.

I recently launched the abacus budget: a low-maintenance budgeting app that lets you plan how you spend your money.

Here are some sites I’ve played a large role in recently: Australian Government Boards, Department of Education, Employment, and Workplace Relations, Smarter Schools, Better Schools, Ministers’ Media Centre, Young Worker Toolkit, Freedom of Information, Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency.

Last year, I spoke at Drupal Downunder about pitching Drupal to Federal Government, and at the Acquia-hosted Do more with Drupal breakfast.

In 2009 I wrote a book called Matrix Secrets which is now free to download. It also came with some screencasts (like this one on outputting content to an iCal file). The fine lads at Ladoo now keep the content in that book fresh via Matrix Users.
